An Alberta restaurant is hiring a full-time Server for a full-service dining room.
What you will do
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, describe dishes and daily specials, and take orders.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar, serve food and drinks, and check back with guests.
- Prepare bills, process payments and reconcile your float at the end of the shift.
- Set and clear tables, restock service stations and keep the dining room tidy.
- Handle guest concerns with care and involve the supervisor when needed.
What we are looking for
- Experience serving in a restaurant, hotel or banquet setting.
- Clear, friendly English; a second language is an asset.
- ProServe certification (Alberta), or willing to obtain it; evenings and weekends required.
